View of Volcan Maderas over my shoulder, take from Playa Santo Domingo, where 2 days turned into 5. This place was a genuine paradise, exotic as they come. The beach descends ever so gradually, you can stand 200+ meters offshore. I felt no pain in leaving this place, knowing full well that I will return (perhaps often) in this lifetime. Seriously some gnarly paradise… and this was where my beard died. The beard fairy left me a quarter.
